Introduction

I. Product Introduction

The HPO High-efficiency Cyclone Wastewater Purifier independently developed by Haipuou Environmental Protection is a new generation integrated intelligent wastewater treatment equipment. Optimized and upgraded to address industry pain points of traditional filter equipment such as easy clogging, high energy consumption, high operation & maintenance costs and low treatment efficiency, it adopts the core technology of centrifugal separation + multi-stage purification and combines physical purification and chemical reaction processes to realize one-stop high-efficiency purification of wastewater. Abandoning cumbersome segmented treatment procedures of conventional wastewater treatment, the equipment integrates multiple processes including direct coagulation, critical flocculation, centrifugal separation, sludge dense layer filtration, high-efficiency clarification, variable pore filtration and sludge thickening & sedimentation inside a single steel tank. No auxiliary civil structures such as coagulation reaction tanks, sedimentation tanks and filter tanks are required.
The tank adopts a steel structure design with round upper part and conical bottom. From top to bottom, it is divided into clear water zone, filtration zone, high-efficiency clarification zone, sludge dense layer filtration zone, centrifugal separation zone, coagulation zone and sludge thickening zone. Wastewater only takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete the full multi-stage purification process. The maximum SS removal rate reaches 99.9%, and the COD removal rate stably ranges from 40% to 70%. The effluent is clear and stable, which can be directly discharged up to standard or reused. The equipment is filled with high-strength foam filter beads featuring large adsorption area, anti-clogging performance and no replacement requirement. Matched with an intelligent PLC control system, it adapts to different treatment capacities of 10–200 m³/h, supports automatic operation and low-frequency backwashing, delivering convenient maintenance and stable long-term operation.

Boasting solid technical strength and authoritative qualifications, this equipment has passed joint appraisal by Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Commission and Shandong Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment. It has been awarded the title of Shandong Provincial Best Practical Environmental Protection Technology, the Second Prize of Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress and the Gold Award of the 6th International Environmental Protection Exhibition. It holds the National Environmental Protection Product Certification Certificate and is included in the Science and Technology Development Plan of Zhucheng City. At present, more than one hundred units have been put into operation in industries including coal, thermal power, papermaking and printing & dyeing, winning excellent market reputation. It is the preferred equipment for intensive industrial wastewater treatment and wastewater reuse.

II. Product Advantages

1. Highly Integrated Process with Ultra-high Treatment Efficiency

Integrating multiple water purification processes into one unit, the single tank completes full wastewater purification, replacing the combined process of multiple separate devices and structures without segmented treatment. The full purification cycle only lasts 20–30 minutes, which rapidly degrades suspended solids, COD and colloidal impurities in water. The effluent SS is controlled below 10 mg/L, with purification efficiency far exceeding traditional wastewater treatment equipment, suitable for large-scale and continuous wastewater treatment operations.

2. Minimal Footprint & Lower Investment Cost

Complex auxiliary civil works are not required, and its overall floor area is only 1/6 of that of traditional processes. Taking the 100 m³/h treatment unit as an example, it only occupies 9 square meters, greatly saving site construction costs. Independently researched, developed and manufactured domestically, its selling price is 70% lower than similar advanced imported equipment with outstanding cost performance for initial investment, suitable for all new-built and retrofitted wastewater treatment projects.

3. Ultra-low Energy Consumption & Low Operation Cost

Without internal rotating vulnerable parts, the equipment features stable structure and ultra-low failure rate with basically no daily maintenance required, significantly cutting maintenance expenses. Only one-time water lifting is needed for operation, resulting in extremely low power consumption. The chemical dosing cost for wastewater treatment is merely 0.06–0.20 RMB per ton of water, bringing remarkable economic benefits for long-term operation. Meanwhile, the equipment supports single-person oversight or fully automatic intelligent control with minimal labor operation and maintenance costs.

4. Durable Anti-clogging Filter Media with Effortless Backwashing

Equipped with special high-strength foam filter beads boasting large specific surface area and high mechanical strength, it operates on surface adsorption purification principle. Impurities hardly accumulate and cause clogging, and adsorbed contaminants fall off easily, so the filter media requires no replacement throughout its service life. Backwashing operation is simple, adopting purified clean water produced by the unit itself. The backwashing cycle is 3–4 times per month, and each washing only takes 3–5 minutes with extremely little maintenance workload.

5. Excellent Sludge Thickening Performance for Convenient Subsequent Disposal

A 55–60° conical sludge hopper is arranged at the bottom of the tank. Under the combined effects of centrifugal force, gravity and water pressure, sludge is efficiently compressed and precipitated with sludge concentration reaching 6%–10%. The discharged sludge features low water content, easy dewatering and fast drying speed, compatible with various sludge drying equipment and natural drying conditions, greatly simplifying subsequent sludge disposal procedures.

6. Wide Working Condition Adaptability & Stable Reliable Operation

Breaking the water quality adaptation limitations of traditional equipment, it simultaneously adapts to wastewater with high and low concentrations of suspended solids. The maximum influent SS tolerance reaches 30000 mg/L. It is highly resistant to hydraulic and pollutant load shocks without being affected by fluctuations in water quality and water volume. It also has unique advantages in treating low-temperature, low-turbidity and seasonally algae-rich water bodies, delivering stable operation under all working conditions with short technical routes and few potential faults.

III. Application Scope

Haipuou High-efficiency Cyclone Purifier features wide and highly targeted application scenarios, focusing on pretreatment and advanced purification of wastewater with high suspended solids and complex industrial pollutants. It also applies to general water treatment scenarios such as municipal engineering, mines and metallurgy. Its core application scope is listed as follows:
1. Mine & Industrial Plant Wastewater Treatment: Specially designed for coal mine pit water, high-concentration coal-bearing wastewater, ash slag water, aggregate washing wastewater and construction mud wastewater. It efficiently removes massive suspended solids in water to realize standard-compliant wastewater reuse, serving as core treatment equipment for mines.
2. Source Water Purification: Suitable for purification of natural water sources including rivers, lakes and reservoirs. It treats raw water with turbidity within 3000 mg/L, especially applicable to low-temperature, low-turbidity lake water with seasonal algae outbreaks, and can act as the main water purification unit for water plants of towns, mines and industrial enterprises.
3. Industrial Circulating Water Optimization: Widely used in circulating water systems of metallurgy, thermal power and other industries. It efficiently filters impurities to improve circulating water quality, reduce scaling and clogging of pipelines and equipment, extend service life of facilities and cut industrial water consumption.
4. Light Industry Wastewater Treatment: Adapted to production wastewater from papermaking, printing & dyeing, textile and other industries.
