一、Product Introduction

The Haipou Environmental Protection peripheral-drive sludge scraper is a fully automated, integrated unit designed specifically for circular radial-flow sedimentation tanks. Widely used in municipal sewage, potable water, and industrial wastewater treatment projects, it addresses issues such as sludge accumulation at the tank bottom and surface scum buildup by enabling automated, continuous, and efficient cleaning operations. It serves as a core component for ensuring stable water quality in circular sedimentation tanks.

The equipment features a scientifically optimized, compact design. Its main components include a flow-stabilizing cylinder, a power collection assembly, a central support, a main bridge/walkway, sludge scraping and scum removal mechanisms, a drive unit, a traveling mechanism, and an electrical control system. The central support utilizes a specialized fixed mount and slewing bearing structure, capable of withstanding axial forces, radial forces, and overturning moments with exceptional stability. The slip-ring power collection assembly—comprising collector rings and brush holders—ensures continuous and stable power transmission during rotation. The dedicated scum removal mechanism consists of a scum scraper blade, a rake, and a discharge hopper, enabling comprehensive removal of floating debris. The main bridge connects the central support to the traveling end carriage and integrates a walkway and safety railings; it carries the sludge scraping and scum removal mechanisms underneath and is driven by the peripheral drive system to rotate the entire unit at a constant speed.

The equipment operates on a highly efficient principle: raw water flows out from the top of the central pier and is evenly distributed by the flow-stabilizing cylinder, moving radially toward the peripheral collection trough. As the flow velocity gradually decreases, suspended solids and sediment settle to the tank bottom. The unit continuously rotates around the central support, driving the scraping mechanism to collect settled sludge evenly into the central sludge collection trough, from where it is automatically discharged via hydrostatic pressure or sludge pumps. Simultaneously, the scum removal mechanism collects surface scum into the discharge hopper for removal. This enables simultaneous bottom sludge scraping and surface scum removal through a fully automated, closed-loop process requiring no manual intervention.
